I am to go outside again.

I'm so good at going outside now that I can do it at a mere 3 hours notice! I'm a prodigy I guess.

Gonna go to this, because I'm free and fearless and excellent at standing on a train platform like I'm not convinced someone's about to push me onto the tracks.

I have a cat scratch on the upper part of one of my jugs that I can't figure out how to conceal it. I tried makeup, but no go, and I don't own shirts that aren't scoop-neck because of high school. Awkwardly tugging my shirt up the whole night it is!

Also I'm gonna get to meet nihilistic_kid in real life--way to go, internet: you made all this possible!

L.A. Fields is the author of The Disorder Series, the short story collection Countrycide, and My Dear Watson, a queer Sherlock Holmes pastiche. Her work has appeared in anthologies of horror, erotica, and academia.

She has a BA in English Literature from the New College of Florida, an MFA in Creative Writing - Fiction from Columbia College Chicago, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Aesthetic Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas.
