First Con (sort of)

"Hey Lauren, did you stay chaste, sober, and respectable?" No! Now I am going to make out with a cup of coffee and re-start the last-time-I-got-laid clock. Cleared a good two years since the last time.

Definitely the best part of hooking up (for me) is relating to other chicks about it the morning after. My sister is on to a new boyfriend so I got to be like, "Oh you think you sleep around? Girl, please." There's no way this isn't our father's fault.

And it turns out I did use my business card holder for meeting an agent, so that all worked out great. Only fail: I got left a punch bowl full of shot glasses because I'm a local... totally walked away and never looked back (sad). Sorry Nick, but how great was it when you brought out that sandwich? You're a damn prince.

Yes. Though I'm happy to report, not with another writer.

A Canadian and George R. R. Martin fan; most of the incidental details have politely excused themselves from my memory.

You are officially ranked as one of my gal pals now for demanding deets.
